The Business Analyst – Customer Growth will provide direct support to the Director, Customer Growth & Analysis, Product Management in efforts to achieve company customer growth and performance objectives. He/She will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and development of customer growth modeling as well as in the preparation of variance and trend analysis and reporting. Additionally, He/She will assist in the preparation of various ad hoc and special projects as required.
Responsibilities include: assist in preparation of weekly/monthly customer growth projections; update all data that is incorporated into weekly customer growth projection models; identify risks to achieving customer growth targets each month; analyze changes in trends and identify triggers to those changes; identify opportunities to improve accuracy and confidence in projection methods; tracking, analyzing and reporting; assist in the preparation of monthly variance and trend reporting for customer growth, customer animation and customer retention; assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly reporting for offer customer activity, specifically offer rolloffs and the associated financial impact; create mechanisms to ensure accuracy of all recurring reporting; automate reporting processes whenever possible; build dashboards that allow high level summaries with drill down capabilities for various facets of customer behavior and profiling analytics; prioritize and balance multiple projects while fielding frequent ad hoc requests.
The role is currently based Bethpage, NY with a future location change to Long Island City, NY in 2018.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
•Experience in preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts.
•Experience preparing reports that are appropriate for senior level audiences
•Excellent oral and written communications skills.
•Detail oriented, ability to analyze problems, probe facts and question assumptions.
•Flexibility in working hours and ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks
