The Project Manager accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities under direction of the Vice President and Sr. Director. This position requires distinct technical and management strategies skills. It oversees and manages time-constrained unique goals and objectives. The Project manager prepares a plan that details the steps required, and calculates the material costs and personnel needed to complete the project. This role is responsible for scope management, change management, estimating impacts of scope change (timeline and cost) as well as managing project resources. The project manager will ensure the project is implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities include; Responsible for implementation of strategies and tactical execution of initiatives in accordance with project guidelines and goals. Work with internal stakeholders to communicate project scope, tasks, deliverables, goals, resources, schedules and budgets Working with the leadership team create strategies that will effectively increase productivity Monitor and track all FTTH materials and ensure usage is within BOM guidelines Manage scope creep through client change orders and internal change orders Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality standards; resolving problems; completing audits and identify trends for determining system improvements. Assigns and measures adequate work-flow from the team members and/or the Project Supervisors Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

FTTH/FTTP construction experience is preferred Headend construction and maintenance experience is preferred Five years of office and field management or technical services experience related to utility engineering and construction, including experience in mid-level management; Experience in estimating utility construction projects; Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent work experience; Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Project Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail Strong analytical and problem solving ability Effective communicator both verbally and in writing Highly adaptive and flexible to changing environments and priorities
