Job Summary

 

The Data Provisioning Manager will be responsible to ensure proper provisioning and activation of all Data and Transport services.  The Data Provisioning Manager will manage individual technicians and will report to a Service Activation Director. Data Provisioning Manager will provide required reports, metrics and KOM’s. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure all Premier+ customers are handled immediately and all process and procedures regarding these customers are updated and communicated to the team.
  • Maintain targeted order completion rate of plus 90 %
  • Meet or exceed 95% on time task completion rate
  • Answer all Remedy tickets within a ½ hour of placement
  • Delivery of monthly business metrics
  • Maintain 2 minute average hold time via ACD
  • Support 100% of all assigned customer turn ups in SFL
  • Work with the PM’s, NMC, and all other departments to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner and orders are closed and meet their due dates
  • Attend training on all new products or services to gain expertise and prepare       materials, assists, etc. to train technicians
  • Direct all activities preventing the provisioning of services to ensure they are resolved and assigned to a SA tech to meet scheduled due dates
  • Manage the provisioning, test and turn-up of all Lightpath orders, rolls, moves, adds, and changes.
  • Ensure all provisioning tasks are closed on time daily

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors or Master degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years combined experience in voice / data networking environment
  • Clear understanding of VOIP protocols and underlying technologies Strong
  • Demonstrated quantifiable experience in Leadership and Change Management required
  • Minimum 5 yrs of telecom facility management or implementation. Experience with converged, unified communications
  • Knowledge and understanding of transport services such as, DWDM, Sonet, OTS, Metro Ethernet and SD-Wan.
  • Knowledge to support intelligent services and solutions for E-line, V-Line, E-Lan, VOIP, VPN, internet access, bundled services, BGP, HSRP and managed routers.
  • Work with Project Managers, Circuit Designers and Network Engineers to ensure proper standards are followed in the network designs.
  • Understanding and experience in using various systems and devise such as Ciena, Cisco, Meraki, Tellabs as well as any new products introduced in the network.
  • General understanding of all LAN/WAN protocols
  • Expertise in developing ROI analysis
  • Knowledge to cover all products (existing and new) and ability to cross train to provide the team with the adequate flexibility it requires
  • Ability to persuade and use problem solving conflict resolution skills
  • Proven ability to multitask, strong verbal, and written skills required
  • Direct all activities involving the provisioning of services for customer access of our services
  • Ability to be on call and available 24x7 to assist all organizational requirements
