Billing Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting analytics programs and initiatives, including but not limited to dashboard creation, sales force data management, automation of reporting processes, data integrity, project management and business intelligence. The successful candidate will provide outstanding support for Senior Management, cross-functional teams and related Programs. This role provides challenge, variety, and exposure to several areas of the business.

The position requires analytical skills and a “can do” attitude, with eagerness to learn possible new tools.  Proactivity and personal communication skills are critical, as this role demands constant interaction spanning several groups in Lightpath and a partnership with BI team.



  • Work with Revenue Assurance Director on process improvement and data audit automation
  • Support monthly audits and data integrity initiatives
  • Work with BI team on audit and reconciliation automations
  • Billing Team support on day to day reconciliation tasks
  • Data audit between billing, operational and provisional systems, identifying variances, evaluating and assisting in generating templates for data updates
  • Analyze service orders prior to invoicing the customer to ensure data integrity and adherence to operational finance principles.
  • Audit of Contracts/Service order Forms and compare to data in billing systems
  • Audit and data manipulation including large data sets
  • Process mass loads for work orders in Sales Force
  • Maintain service object accuracy in Sales Force
  • Create efficiencies by utilizing & data analysis tools, while always having an eye for process improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with sales, customer service, service delivery, and product management teams



  • Data analysis/reconciliation 2 years
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications services and networks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access , Tableau or SQL Query a plus
  • Sales Force Data management preferred
  • Advanced Excel /VBA experience preferred




Compensation - Pay range at time of posting

  • $70,000 - $80,000 base salary
