Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Software Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate software delivery efforts across Agile teams, ensuring high-quality, on-time releases aligned with business goals. This role combines traditional delivery management with responsibilities drawn from Agile leadership roles, including aspects of Scrum Mastering, SAFe facilitation, and Program Increment (PI) Planning. The ideal candidate brings technical fluency, delivery ownership, and strong leadership across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of software solutions, from planning through deployment and support.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, scope, and priorities.
  • Define and maintain delivery plans, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Drive Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and ensure continuous improvement of delivery processes.
  • Identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks early, and work proactively to resolve them.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives).
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Communicate progress, status updates, and delivery outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive metrics-driven reporting (velocity, burn-downs, predictability).
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and high performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in software delivery, project management, or Agile leadership roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Lean delivery frameworks.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting or facilitating PI Planning and Agile Release Train events.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams is a plus.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $123,379.00 - $202,694.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
