Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Manager, AIOps to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of AI-driven operations platform across our telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Telecom or Technology with proven expertise in Automation, Network Operations, IT systems, and Low Code/No Code platforms. This role plays a critical part in driving operational efficiency, reducing incidents, increasing automation, and enhancing customer experience through intelligent operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the AIOps Strategy: Develop and execute the AIOps roadmap in alignment with the company’s automation and digital transformation goals.
- Deploy and own a new AIOps Platform in the Optimum environment, fully integrate it per network, architecture, and security standards, develop use cases and work with stakeholders and partners to implement them. Work with NOC and internal stakeholders to drive significant improvements in alarm correlation, mean time to know and other key performance metrics.
- Automation & Optimization: Design and deploy AI/ML-based solutions to automate operational workflows in Network and IT environments.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Network Engineering, IT, DevOps, and Service Assurance teams to identify operational pain points and implement proactive solutions.
- Low Code/No Code Platforms: Leverage LCNC platforms to enable rapid solution development and empower non-technical teams to automate processes.
- Incident Management: Drive intelligent alerting, root cause analysis, and self-healing mechanisms to reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and incident volumes.
- Performance Monitoring: Integrate monitoring tools and AI engines to provide real-time visibility and predictive analytics for network and IT systems.
- Vendor & Tool Selection: Evaluate, select, and manage tools and vendors for AIOps implementations and automation initiatives.
- Team Development: Manage and Mentor a team of engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in Telecommunications or Technology industry with a strong focus on Operations, Automation, and Network/IT systems.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of network infrastructure, cloud platforms, and ITSM tools
- Strong experience with AIOps platforms and AI/ML integration in Ops environments
- Familiarity with Low Code/No Code development environments such as ServiceNow, Power Platform, Appian, etc.
- Hands-on experience with scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.) is a plus
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage projects, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certifications (Preferred): ITIL, AI/ML certifications, DevOps or related credentials.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $133,661.00 - $219,586.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
