We're looking for a passionate advocate for users who thrives on understanding end-to-end customer journeys, motivations, and pain points. You bring a deep commitment to ethical, inclusive, and accessible design, and you never lose sight of the human at the center of every experience.

You’ll establish and scale UX research processes, promote the value of research across the organization, and ensure that insights are embedded in every stage of product development. Collaborating closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, you’ll contribute directly to roadmap planning and discovery efforts—ensuring research is not only timely, but foundational.
Responsibilities

- Plan, recruit, conduct, and/or oversee all product related UX Research
- Create and maintain a research roadmap informed by product development roadmaps as well as longer term strategic research and diary studies
- Represent the UX Research function and evangelize process and benefits to the rest of the company

- Stay informed on trends and tools in UX Research to keep our research capabilities modern and relevant
- Participate in discovery workshops, planning, and reviews to weigh in with insights, and to identify and plan any dependent research and success metrics
- Coach and mentor product designers, providing candid and empathetic feedback in a timely and constructive manner, establish and manage employee goals, and facilitate growth opportunities
- Routinely optimize ways of working for maximum efficiency and productivity
- Help teams overcome obstacles and complete work
- Adapt in-flight strategies when necessary while mitigating lost productivity and/or morale
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or significant experience conducting UX research with meaningful business impact
- 7+ years of experience conducting primary research (either qualitative or quantitative) end-to-end (designing, fielding, analyzing and reporting out data)
- 2+ years of experience directly managing, coaching and developing mid or junior level researchers
- Experience directly managing, understanding, or introducing different research methodologies to teams
- Experience building teams over time through hiring, growing, and retaining high-functioning researchers
- Track record of translating research into business impact
