JOB TITLE - Sales Compliance Analyst

Job Summary: Under minimal supervision, the candidate must be able to adapt and adjust to an ever-changing environment. This multi-faceted role supports the Company Organization in both East and West B2C & B2B Sales, ensuring adherence to all order entry processes for all departments. The primary function is to analyze and manage data according to organizational needs. Must be able to analyze and present insight from informational data. Must be able to identify trends and provide continuous updates that will help improve existing processes and drive business solutions.

 

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and develop reports to disseminate to local sales offices, identifying key areas of non-compliance to business rules.

• Review data to identify basic trends and analysis. Reports findings to upper management for action.

• Extract data from multiple sources, organizing it into understandable information to provide to the Senior Management team.

• Makes recommendations and solutions on processes and policy based on reporting and business needs.

• Ensure SOX compliance with non-pay business rules and promotional eligibility rules in order to prevent revenue loss for the organization.

• Responsible for staying current with all current and new promotions for all Residential Sales.

• Monitor credit analysis reports to ensure all sales reps are in adherence.

• Responsible for testing all new offers, rate codes, and product rules in IDA.

• Perform call audits for the Sales organization to use for coaching purposes.

• Responsible for updating or creating new logic when error reporting is needed and following up to ensure all error reports are current in accordance with Sales compliance.

• Responsible for attending weekly compliance meetings to identify trends, new promotions, and rate codes.

• Responsible for organizing and maintaining confidential files and completing project-oriented tasks promptly and efficiently.

• Utilizes various PC software packages such as spreadsheets, word processing, and graphics to produce high-quality reports, presentations, or other documents.

• Participates in complex projects and performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.

 

Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an analytical role required

• Mathematical Aptitude required

• 60 college credits preferred with an emphasis on computer science or equivalent practical experience.

• Degree in Computer Science or related industry a plus

• Strong oral and written communication skills required

• Proficient knowledge, with proven experience, of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access required.

• Strong organizational skills and demonstrable logical skills.

• Ability to think critically and analytically

• Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy.

• Creating Macros and VBA a plus

• Ability to solve problems independently

• Serve as an individual contributor and team member

• Ability to multi-task when needed

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

 

Working Conditions

• Schedules may include working weekends depending on project deadlines
