Job Summary
The Business Insights Analyst will be responsible for leading the development and analysis of revenue reporting data products that support key stakeholders across the News, Programming and Business Services division. The analyst will build and maintain scalable reporting solutions, support ad-hoc revenue data requests, and ensure ongoing quality and reliability of critical data assets. This role will also contribute to the design and implementation of AI and machine learning initiatives that enhance sales reporting, forecasting, and performance insights. The analyst will partner closely with the Product, Sales, Business Planning, and Data & Analytics teams to translate business needs into actionable reporting solutions and to help drive smarter, data-informed decisions across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Translate data into actionable and timely insights and visuals which will be used to drive strategic decisions.
- Frequently engage with stakeholders across the News, Programming and Business Services organization -- including senior leadership -- to understand reporting needs and ensure team alignment with overall business goals.
- Build new and maintain existing reports that allow for accurate performance analysis.
- Create reports and visualizations that are concise, easily digestible and show an innate understanding of stakeholder goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related analytical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years in an analytical role building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations that drive decision-making
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills; financial acumen preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides, with the ability to translate complex data into clear visuals and insights
- Experience with business intelligence platforms—Domo experience strongly preferred
- Ability to connect analytics to overarching business goals and link data insights to strategic outcomes
- Proven ability to communicate findings clearly, concisely, and persuasively to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated success collaborating across multiple teams and functions to deliver impactful solutions
- Working knowledge of financial, business planning, and accounting principles
- Familiarity with revenue reporting in the media or advertising industry a plus
- Exposure to or interest in supporting AI/ML data initiatives a plus

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $77,112.00 - $126,684.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
