Job Summary
Universal Cable Holdings, Inc. seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to identify data relations, patterns, and features that are predictive of user behaviors, preferences, intents, and interests. Leverage advanced analytics techniques, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), to design, prototype, and build solutions to business problems.
Responsibilities
Lead stakeholder communications to drive use case development and manage expectations on model limitations and lead times. Execute projects from start to finish, including cross-functional project management, data collection and manipulation, analysis and modeling, communication of insights and recommendations, and productionalization of final model products. Communicate findings with stakeholders to improve business decisions and influence strategic direction. #LI-DNI
Qualifications
Position requires a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative field, and 2 years of experience with machine learning techniques including classification, regression, clustering, natural language processing, and optimization. Experience must include a minimum of: 2 years of experience with Bayesian inference, frequentist statistics, and causal modeling; 2 years of experience with R or Python for statistical and machine learning programming; 2 years of experience with SQL or Python coding to wrangle and explore structured and unstructured data; 2 years of experience with server and cloud computing platforms, including Google Compute Engine and EC2; and 2 years of experience with data warehouses, including Oracle, Big Query, and AWS. Part-time telecommuting is permitted.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $170,001.00 - $180,001.00 per year.
