Job Summary

The Product Manager is a critical part of the team responsible for defining the digital product roadmap for Optimum Mobile. The Product Manager will be personally responsible for developing features in the Acquisition vertical of the product backlog. The Product Manager will work closely with the Senior Director and VP of Product, the Product Monetization, IT, Network Engineering, Customer Experience, and Retention teams to bring the roadmap to market. 

Responsibilities

  • Own the product development lifecycle for Acquisition across channels as well as the operations management of those features post deployment 
  • Coordinate analysis and define clear actions based on project needs 
  • Represent and lead specific requirements by engaging subject matter experts 
  • Measure the business impacts of product enhancements 
  • Benchmark industry products and features to align with market 
  • Write business & product requirements, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria 
  • Provide timely feedback into development as the product Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders 
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure operational readiness for the product, including providing support to the go-to-market team 
  • Ability to accurately interpret business direction and clarify technology's alignment with stakeholder needs 
  • Monitor and oversee the measurement of product feature performance 
  • Provide subject matter expertise on your portfolio to the entire organization.  
  • Manage vendor relationships as needed 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 5+ years' experience in product management, product development, consulting, or financial modeling roles for mobile or software-based products. 
  • 3 years in mobile app or web development product area, including proficiency in Agile development methodology and Jira board management 
  • Effective problem solving and analytical skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; and proven ability to interact with technical, non-technical, and executive level leaders. 
  • Strong ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to develop an understanding of market and consumer behavior. 
  • Strong technical knowledge. Ideally with a general understanding of network architecture, mobile and digital technologies, APIs, Wi-Fi, and cellular technologies. 
  • Effective verbal articulation of complex concepts into documented requirements and flows. 
  • Effective team leadership. 
  • Must be a proactive and collaborative individual who will initiate action and achieve results. 
  • Knowledgeable across many functional areas, including product management, business development, network engineering, UX/UI, marketing. 
  • Big picture thinker, ability to execute on vision/follow-through skills 
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • Has a project manager’s mindset, is hyper-organized, and excellent time management skills.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $123,379.00 - $202,694.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
