Job Summary

This position is for a Senior Analyst, Information Technology Executive Support dedicated to delivering a “technology concierge service” of the highest level to Optimum’s senior executives, including Executive Management and all members of the executive suite. The Senior Executive Support position will be responsible for the ongoing support of senior members of the Corporation. This position will serve as the single point of contact for communication and coordination for any senior management technology issue, request or question. This position is the face of technology to many senior level users and needs to be able to represent Corporate IT in an appropriate fashion. Given the level and demanding nature of the user base, they must also be able to manage relationships, conflicts and communication with a high-level of proficiency. The Senior Analyst is required to provide on-call coverage during off-hours. They are also expected to travel to other offices and locations in order to provide onsite support when required. This position will be based in our Long Island City office and will be expected to be onsite from 8AM to 5PM every workday.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a single point of contact for all IT related issues to senior management  

  • Perform installations, configures and tests end-user hardware and software (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android). 

  • Coordinate with corporate IT resources to understand and minimize the impact of potential widespread issues. 

  • Partner with Executive Leadership to evaluate new user or conference technology, evaluate and plan deployment options to ensure functionality and supportability. 

  • Responds to and leads resolution of reported individual user issues on-site (or via MS Teams if user is remote) 

  • Work with Facilities team to coordinate any office space changes, ensure technical components remain functional following office space work. 

  • Provides support and education by preparing application, hardware, and network documentation. 

  • Assists with the support and maintenance of IT managed network and system infrastructure in coordination with enterprise network team. 

  • Serves as an escalation point for Associate Analysts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar degree preferred or the equivalent combination of education and job experience. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of directly providing IT support to executives. 
  • Ability to consult with executive leaders and demonstrate independent decision making and accountability in order to fully resolve issues with urgency. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues remotely. 
  • Experience with Windows OS, MacOS, Microsoft Office, Internet browsers and Email clients. 
  • Experience with Cisco conferencing systems. 
  • Experience with ITIL / Helpdesk ticketing systems. 
  • Working knowledge of systems hardware, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices. 
  • 7x24 on-call availability to respond to support requests and flexible work schedule to respond to the needs of the business. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimum guidance as well as within a team environment. 
  • Ability to detect problem areas and recommend solutions for local and remote users. 
  • Effective communication and customer service interaction skills with users to interpret their needs efficiently and professionally.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00 - $168,912.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
