Job Summary

The Investment Coordinator supports the Investment/Media Buying team in coordinating, executing, and maintaining client media buys. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You’ll support senior team members, manage operational tasks, build vendor relationships, and help ensure campaigns deliver against client goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily client needs, including schedule changes, budget adjustments, and marketplace updates.
  • Support the senior buying team in the overall management of client business and campaign execution.
  • Pull data and insights to support planning, optimizations, and client reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media company account executives and network partners.
  • Work with networks and stations to monitor audience delivery and secure accurate make-good packages.
  • Stay informed on emerging media trends and communicate potential impact to client objectives and buying strategies.
  • Assist with plan revisions, rate tracking, and day-to-day stewardship of buys.
  • Support special projects and ad-hoc buying assignments as needed.
  • Complete and process pre-logs and post-logs accurately and on time.
  • Maintain order, organization, filing, and documentation for all assigned accounts.
  • Handle data entry tasks, including collecting station rates, log data, and delivery information.
  • Gain proficiency in CORE and PM360 for inputting, tracking, and reconciling buys.
  • Resolve discrepancies in CORE and ensure all data inputs are complete and accurate.
  • Help maintain clean, organized workflows for the buying team.
  • Work with large data sets and compile reports used for planning and client insights.
  • Use Excel for data evaluation and reporting, with a willingness to learn advanced functions (pivot tables, v-lookups).
  • Assist with performance tracking and delivery analysis across networks and stations.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills when relaying information across teams.
  • Support team members with tasks related to managing buys, stations, client communication, and workflow prioritization.
  • Continue developing media knowledge by learning from Associate Buyers, Buyers, and senior team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (advertising, marketing, communications, media studies, or related field)
  • 0–2+ years of media buying or media experience; traditional or direct response experience a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and comfort working with numbers and budgets
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of pivot tables and v-lookups is a plus
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets and solve problems proactively
  • A willingness to learn media systems (CORE, PM360) and expand buying expertise
  • Ability to problem-solve and resolve data issues

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $42,000.00 - $69,000.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
