Job Summary:

The Director of Treasury will be responsible for managing all Treasury related activities at Lightpath, including ongoing development of processes, controls, and procedures.

 

The role reports to the VP of Corporate Finance and will also work closely with the CFO and EVP of Finance. The role will include establishing, refining, and running processes around cash management, cash forecasting, debt compliance, SOX/audit compliance, and other Treasury and Corporate Finance activities as they arise.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement and operate a treasury management system to consolidate all Lightpath bank accounts and manage cash.
  • Manage company cash daily including bank account reconciliation and funding as needed, releasing cash wires, all banking requests and daily cash reporting.
  • Work cross functionally with FP&A to complete the rolling short-term cash forecast on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain all necessary debt compliance including monthly management reporting for asset backed securitization.
  • Work cross functionally with Accounting and Audit to maintain SOX compliance and deliver on weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-resolution skills.
  • Highly attentive to detail and process oriented.
  • Act as trusted advisor to cross functional business leaders, anticipate needs and make recommendations.
  • Complete other financial/operational analysis and workstreams as needed.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Key Experiences/Achievements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience working in Treasury operations.
  • Knowledge of asset backed securitization debt structure compliance preferred.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls & financial reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Treasury systems and online banking portals.
  • Proven experience in financial and operational modeling, forecasting, and data analytics.
  • Telecom experience preferred but not required.
  • Highly motivated with an eagerness to learn new technologies, be part of a collaborative team, and maintain a transformational and creative mindset.

Technical/Functional Competencies

  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly Proficient in Oracle, Essbase, Kyriba, online banking platforms.
  • Proficient in interpreting business and technical requirements and making decisions that are optimal for Lightpath value creation.
