Job Summary

Fun, money, and goal- crushing success!  As a Commercial Chat Sales Representative on the Optimum team, you’ll play an integral part in our mission:  Offering small to medium businesses industry- leading digital products and services, providing exceptional customer experiences, and helping your team slay sales targets.  We invest in you.  We’ll train you how to become a solution specialist: evaluating customer needs and recommending the best product or package to match them.  We have entrepreneurial roots, and we pass that down in our culture by empowering our sales representatives to own their success.  Top performance is recognized, celebrated, and rewarded with lucrative incentives.

Responsibilities

  • Receives inbound chats connecting with small to medium business owners that are either non- customers or existing customers.  Utilizing speedy typing, communication skills, product knowledge, knowledge of our competitors’ products and persuasion to convert shoppers to buyers. 
  • Achieve daily and monthly targets.
  • Maintaining organized callbacks, following up with customers on various needs.
  • Maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Manage accounts through quality checks and other follow-up.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered to Optimum clients.
  • Identifies and resolves client concerns in a way that protects business interests.
  • May perform other assigned duties, focusing on company values and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

What you need:

  • College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • We'd like a minimum of one year work experience.
  • Articulation- strong in both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong PC skills required.
  • Flexibility. We're open evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law.  Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $33,696.00  - $55,357.00 / year. The rate/Range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
