Job Summary

We are currently looking for three Business to Business (B2B) Outbound Sales Representatives to join our successful Sales team to offer Connectivity and Entertainment products as High-Speed Data, Video and VoiP solutions to B2B customers. Our B2B Outbound Sales Representatives are solution specialists; they must demonstrate a good understanding of Optimum Business services and technology, evaluate consumer needs and recommend the appropriate products and packages. B2B Outbound Sales Representatives maximize sales on every call and effectively communicate to business customers the features and benefits of Optimum products and services. Responsibilities

  • Initiates and closes sales with business customers for company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Creates proposal documents with an effective return on investment for the customer and the organization.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships, demonstrating the organization's culture statement through actions.
  • Manage accounts through quality checks and other follow-up.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered to Optimum clients.
  • Identifies and resolves client concerns in a way that protects the business interests.
  • Professionally responds to email and other inquiries, educating clients on various product options.
  • May perform other assigned duties, focusing on company values and a positive work environment.
  • This position is M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM central time, but subject to change.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Essential Functions:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is necessary. 
  • A minimum of one year of previous contact center selling experience.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivator with a knack for working independently.
  • Proficient computer and technical skills, that help support the best customer solutions.
  • Reliable personal vehicle (where applicable), valid driver license, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Physical Abilities: Work environment includes sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to work full time and weekends as necessary.

  • Sales-centric mindset: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional sales results by exceeding sales targets.  Ability to empathize with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and establish trust.
  • Extensive product knowledge: Deep understanding of mobile and fixed-line products and services. Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive offerings. Ability to translate technical information into easily understandable terms for customers.
  • Digital proficiency: Comfortable navigating digital platforms and tools. Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other relevant software applications. Ability to adapt to new technologies and embrace digital transformation.

Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law.  Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting base pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $27,720.00  - $45,540.00 / year. The rate/Range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
