Job Summary

The Senior Vice President – Product Development is a critical member of the Technology and Information Leadership team, as well as a cross-functional key member of the Product & Marketing teams, overseeing product development for Altice USA’s Optimum brand product offerings. This role will be responsible for translating product specs into technical terms, overseeing feasibility, UAT testing and enhancements. The role will require an individual who can understand the product need, the impact to consumers, the planning of enhancements and correlate to technical terms, engineering specs, system implications and UAT. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of telecommunication products and experience developing in the telecommunication space.


  • Regularly partner and understand the expectations of the various channels of product management
  • Translate product and marketing needs into technical specs for engineering teams with tech requirements; in partnership with gathering experience requirements and customer impact/journey 
  • Partner with key cross groups on product uTrser stories and requirements definition; ensuring the voice of customer is represented through experience design from the CX team 
  • Oversee UAT of products, provide alternative options to solve consumer demand and ensure no impact to larger system
  • Share results and collaborate on edits, version control and short/long term roadmap per product in each product line with key cross-functional leaders
  • Serve as a representative for all technology and information teams while assess product development
  • Use data to proactive drive product enhancements and developments in future versions sharing suggestions and results with key product partners and ensuring go-to-market strategy will not be impacted
  • Understanding the impact of timelines and results to the larger customer impact
  • Manage key stakeholders in providing feedback and results on product reviews and partnering with appropriate decision makers to ensure product development, ROI, go-to-market strategy, and customer segments are a win-win for both the Optimum brand and the customer
  • Strong third-party relationship manage as Altice USA has a blend of in-house and out-house development partners 
  • Assess partnerships, establish aligned upon key KPIs and ensure regular conversations on success plans occur between internal and external partnership




  • BA required/MA or MBA preferred 
  • Minimum of 15+ years in a product development and UAT environments
  • Minimum of 10+ years in a telecommunications environment
  • Preferable Broadband/cable background and heavily regulated B2C, home-oriented business  
  • P&L knowledge with a strong track record of growth and accomplishments/achievements
  • Proven ability to collaborate across organizations
  • Analytical thinker who uses data to drive decisions and balances both short and long term needs of customers
  • Robust understanding of consumer behavior and experience using different channels to engage
  • Discrete, agile-minded, highly organized and committed to Altice USA vision and company culture 
  • Proven executive presence, strategic capabilities, effective collaborator, and superior influencing skills
  • Influential leadership, strong motivator, and ability to manage through change 
  • Role is based in Bethpage, NY and Long Island City, NY with willingness to travel up to 15% of time within US-based footprint
