Job Summary
Altice USA is looking for a detail and process-oriented Specialist Content Lifecycle to help manage our Video on Demand content library of over 30,000 titles ranging from critically acclaimed movies & shows, kids programming, music videos, behind-scenes extras, sports programming, news and more. You’ll be responsible for the daily delivery, publishing and validation of Altice USA’s movie and television content; including the publishing of content and associated metadata across multiple platforms and user interfaces. You will be verifying the accuracy of associated metadata and participating in troubleshooting efforts. The role will perform these responsibilities in a manner that enables the organization to achieve customer experience and financial goals; including subscriber growth, revenue, net contribution, feature adaption and usage. The Specialist Content Lifecycle will be a key advocate for our customers; clearly understanding, documenting, and communicating on behalf of the customer.
Responsibilities
- Manage Altice USA’s Video On Demand daily operations:
- Track content delivery from the top movie studios and TV Networks
- Manage and validate content publishing across all platforms
- Manage new Video On Demand content launches
- On going product testing and troubleshooting
- Partner with Internal teams to ensure the consistent quality and accuracy of our Video On Demand products
- Serve as the in-house expert for all aspects of Video On Demand content management and publishing
- Responsible for the end-to-end management of content from multiple sources to multiple platforms and interfaces, overseeing workflow status, publish and asset life cycle
- Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, troubleshoot and implement solutions
- Support channel lineup changes (additions, deletions, moves, tier changes)
- Coordinate guide data with third party vendors and troubleshoot issues
- Lead or participate in special projects for the Product Management team
Essential Functions
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
- Ability to quickly grasp operational and functional details of Video On Demand services
- Ability to learn, adapt and leverage changes in the workplace, including organizational movements and technological advancements
- Ability to understand and respond effectively to activity interdependencies to ensure that they do not negatively affect the workflow
- Ability to work independently while keeping key stakeholders apprised of issues on the steps being taken to resolve
Qualifications
- Detail oriented and hyper-focused on quality of work
- Has a project management mindset, is hyper-organized and has excellent time management skills
- Cross-functional influence skills
- Basic understanding of video technology platform/video-ecosystem
- Basic understanding and exposure to other functions (e.g., marketing, business planning, etc.)
- Ability to quickly learn new software
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years experience with digital content publishing
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Business, Communications, Media Management or related discipline
- Experience handling the storing and transmittal of digital video files
- Experience with, and a strong understanding of database administration

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $64,260.00 - $105,570.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
