Job Summary

The Network Access Analyst will be responsible for capturing and providing analysis for network expenses, including Type II, colocation/data centers, and other network costs. The candidate will also work closely with our sales team to support quotes from E2E. The ideal candidate will interact with multiple fiber providers, sending RFQ’s for Vline, Eline, Dark Fiber, OTS circuits. The successful candidate will quickly become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in off net circuit quoting and play a key role in sales enablement, revenue optimization, and cost efficiency for Lightpath.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Vendor Orders & Network Expenses: Responsible for the full lifecycle of vendor orders and network expenses within Salesforce. Add and modify records in Sales Force supporting Lightpath installs, disconnects and maintain record integrity.
  • Quoting: Process quote requests supporting Vline, Eline, OTS, dark fiber, DIA circuits, data center space & power, cross connects, innerducts, etc in an efficient and timely manner
    • Follow up with vendors on quotes and ensure they adhere to SLA’s
    • Provide updates to AE/SE/management as it relates to quotes
  • Credit Requests: Track and request credits for outages impacting type II circuits er contractual SLA’s
  • Vendor Relations: Negotiate competitive pricing to positively impact gross margins
  • Data Integrity and Expense Management: Ensure accuracy in Salesforce and Netcracker records for both Direct and OpEx expenses, including the validation of vendor orders and cost allocations.
  • Expense Metrics Reporting: Own the tracking and reporting of Type II operating and network expense metrics, delivering accurate insights to stakeholders.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed to support business initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.  MBA Preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in telecom, with a strong focus on network expense analysis and vendor relations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Netcracker, Google Earth, C2F, TEOCO, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced Excel modeling and experience with dashboards and contract redlining
  • Familiarity with telecom technologies, architecture, and products is a plus

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in Colorado. The pay range at the time of posting in the specified locations is $60,000 - $80,000/year. Pay ranges are supplied in compliance with Colorado law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience.
