Job Summary

The Executive Vice President, Chief Growth Officer (CGO) at Altice USA will serve as a commercial leader and thought partner to the CEO and the senior leadership team and will be responsible for overseeing the strategy of product, marketing, and growth across our current and future residential and commercial Optimum businesses. In leading this function, the CGO will oversee strategic efforts to focus on the needs of new and existing customers to enable Altice’s long-term growth. The executive will guide and develop the teams responsible for strategic management of the consumer and business customer base, product management, planning and operations, competitive and commercial analysis, and end-to-end marketing to achieve target levels of success within the agreed business plan. The CGO must be able to identify, craft, capture, and clearly articulate the growth strategy throughout the organization and drive adoption.
The scope includes but is not limited to, product roadmaps, go-to-market strategy, growth channels, full product P&L ownership, overarching strategy development for product and subscribers, operational execution, competitive differentiation and positioning, pricing, etc. In the context of Altice’s Broadband Fiber to the Home initiative and existing DOCSIS network, the leader must be able to leverage their financial savviness, understanding of P&L levers and ROI, and general end-to-end business mindset to develop plans to drive maximum consumer activity on marketing initiatives.
The CGO must be an inspirational, influential, and persuasive leader capable of achieving excellent results through others. The role will have full responsibility of the product and marketing teams which include product leadership focused on internet, video, voice, mobile, and new business product planning, product operations and the full marketing portfolio.  

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with leaders of segments, operations, sales, marketing, product development, and other key internal stakeholders to create realistic cross-functional Go-To-Market and channel plans
  • Serve as a strategic and commercial thought partner to the CEO in the development and execution of an overall business plan to achieve the company’s vision of delivering a best-in-class customer experience
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with partners and customers in the Altice ecosystem to tailor the strategy and products to the market
  • Foster a customer-first, results-oriented, continuous improvement environment that promotes design thinking, disciplined execution, fast failure, learning, and innovation
  • Drive growth transformation through exceptional discipline and focus, with a penchant for being in the field often

Qualifications

  • Broadband/cable industry knowledge     
  • Robust understanding of consumer behavior and experience using different channels to engage    
  • P&L leadership with a strong track record of growth        
  • Experience developing and operationalizing product roadmaps        
  • Experience in B2C and B2B environments        
  • Optimization of Go-To-Market strategy to more efficiently serve customer segments
  • Proven ability to collaborate across technology, operations, product, and marketing teams to optimize and expand product offerings and solutions
  • Hands-on operator and adaptive executive who can reinvent the playbook and evolve the business for the current ecosystem
  • Inspiring leader who can assess, attract, and develop talent        
  • Gritty, transformation-oriented executive with the perseverance and open-mindedness to lead and drive paradigm shifts; gets energy from change

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is 300,000.00 - 450,000.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
