Job Summary

Reporting to Altice USA’s Chief Marketing Officer and partnering closely with Altice USA’s Executive Leadership Team, this high visibility, key leadership role will be responsible for transforming Optimum’s consumer pricing and go to market strategy across our national footprint. This leader will help drive the company’s aspiration to become a competitive, market and customer focused, data-driven organization and will serve as a catalyst to lead the company’s competitive positioning, go to market and segment strategies overall. This leader will work collaboratively across marketing, sales and finance to ensure Optimum’s revenue and subscriber goals and consistently met and that the business is poised for long term profitable growth.


  • Lead the development of a centralized capability aimed at understanding our current markets, adjacent markets, customers and potential customers and partnering with executive-level leaders to impact meaningful change in our organization
  • Own the 4 P’s of Marketing from a strategy perspective (Price, Place, Product, Promotion) and part across the organization to bring integrated marketing and GTM plans to life
  • Manage a team of executive leaders responsible for leading a multi-level organization across Go-To-Market (Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Product, Retention)
  • Transform our approach to Pricing by leveraging rich analytics to drive profitable base management and acquisition strategies in conjunction with our Chief Marketing Officer and Finance organizations
  • Transform our approach to Product Marketing and Go To Market, ensuring a solid process from ideation to execution, proper handoffs and data driven value propositions
  • Partner with analytics org on statistical analyses to measure the operational impact of various customer facing strategies on consumer and financial metrics.
  • Drive the development of “Next Best Action” strategies across all consumer-facing sales and marketing channels with a focus on driving profitable customer retention and customer base management
  • Partner with Field & Tech Ops leadership to determine metrics that matter and to help improve key business processes by leveraging data and advanced analytics (e.g. completion, uptime, outage detection)
  • Recruit, motivate, develop, and engage a talented team of leaders and technical SME’s that are dedicated to developing best in class segment marketing, pricing strategy and billing/pricing operations
  • Partner across the Data and Analytics organization to leverage organizational scale and processes for data, analytics tools, and machine learning
  • Drive strategy and execution of Billing and offer operations to ensure revenue assurance, controls and rigor across a diverse geography and often disparate systems
  • Drive simplicity and precision from a pricing perspective, consumer friendly and principled approach
  • Identify growth opportunities for the business via strategic planning, understanding of markets and execution, also thorough understanding of technologies in our footprint
  • Drive a transformation to bring together disparate teams and functions into a unified, aligned team with a one-team mindset by lead a multi-level team with a maniacal focus on culture, strategy, and execution.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree in relevant discipline is highly preferred.
  • 12+ years experience
  • Deep experience leveraging analytics to drive actionable insights and implementable strategies; proven track record of shaping business strategy with data and analytics. This will require a substantive understanding of the lifecycle of analytics across analysis, data science, and machine learning but not necessarily doing the analytics work personally.
  • Experience in telecommunications, media, and/or technology is required
  • Previous proven experience leading or working with a team of data engineers and data analysts, preferably as part of a successful transformation initiative. Past experience managing a multi-level team of 50+.
  • “Player-Coach” approach to coaching and developing a team—a leader who is not afraid to “get their hands dirty”
  • Prior experience leading Marketing and segment marketing teams to understand market growth pockets and how to drive growth
  • Understanding of a cloud data environment with the ability to partner closely with an Enterprise IT organization
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to summarize analytic findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to collaborate closely with executives all levels of an organization.
  • Hands-on approach to learning the Altice USA business to quickly and thoughtfully augment the strategic value of a unified analytics function
  • Growth mindset and mentally primed to take on challenges and adopt effective problem-solving strategies; encourages team to embrace growth mindsets

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $242,760.00 - $346,800.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
