Job Summary

This key leadership role will be responsible for the creation and leadership of a new centralized Workforce Analytics team within Altice USA’s internal Data and Analytics (DnA) organization. This team will be responsible for end-to-end data insights support of the Human Resources organization which includes Data Engineering, Report Development, and Analytic Insights. This leader should have the ability to be “hands-on” --leading by example where necessary—to collaboratively develop data marts, reports, and insights that meet the needs of our HR, business, legal and finance partners. An ideal candidate will have a proven track record of partnering with these partners and working closely with their leaders to meet the needs of the organization. 

Responsibilities

  • Hire, develop, and lead a best-in-class Workforce Analytics team comprised of Data Engineers, Report Developers, and Analysts 
  • Closely partner and collaborate across all facets of the data and analytics organization to identify opportunities to integrate available data, tools, and processes within workforce analytics 
  • Partner closely with IT to understand HR systems and provide recommendations for improving data accuracy, continuity, and enrichment 
  • Create and drive the roadmap for analytics and reporting that meets the full needs of the Human Resources, business, legal and finance organizations 
  • Simplify complex concepts to business stakeholders to promote the understanding of the value of data and to promote excitement around the discipline 
  • Establish a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team – and across the DnA organization more broadly - ensuring quality and speed 
  • Identify key opportunities for driving significant value with data (i.e. integration of ML/AI into HR processes to provide alerting and recommendations) 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study; or equivalent work experience.
  • 12+ years of relevant employment experience in data and analytics 
  • 5+ years of management and leadership experience 
  • 3+ years in workforce analytics 
  • Experience working with data from HR systems like SAP SuccessFactors, EPIC, or similar platform required 
  • Experience with a cloud-based environment, such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure  
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and build effective business partnerships at senior levels of the organization.  
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to summarize analytic findings to technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Hands-on approach to learning the Altice USA business to quickly and thoughtfully augment the strategic value of a unified analytics function.  
  • Growth mindset and mentally primed to take on challenges and adopt effective problem-solving strategies; encourages the team to embrace growth mindsets. 
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker) is required. Extensive experience with Tableau is an added plus.
  • Programming experience. We prefer Python. 
  • SQL experience. The stronger, the better!

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $161,186.00 - $230,265.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
