Job Summary

Reporting to Altice USA’s Chief Data & Analytics Officer, this high visibility, key leadership role will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and developing the singular source of truth for business performance within Altice USA’s business. This leader will help drive the company’s aspiration to become a data-driven organization and will serve as a catalyst to inform data-based decisions on key actions and opportunities aimed at strengthening the company's competitive position and operational and financial health.  

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a centralized capability aimed at understanding our current customers and partnering with the Customer Experience and Retention organizations to drive measurable improvements to customer experience and operating cash flow. 
  • Deploy statistical analyses to measure the operational impact of various customer facing strategies on consumer and financial metrics 
  • Drive the development of “Next Best Action” in Retention call centers 
  • Recruit, motivate, develop, and engage a talented team of leaders and technical SME’s that are dedicated to developing best in class data and analytics capabilities. 
  • Partner across the Data and Analytics organization to leverage organizational scale and processes 
  • Drive a transformation to bring together disparate teams and functions into a unified, aligned team with a one-team mindset by lead a multi-level team with a maniacal focus on culture, strategy, and execution. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.  Advanced degree in relevant discipline is highly preferred. 
  • Deep experience leveraging analytics to drive actionable insights and implementable strategies; proven track record of shaping business strategy with data and analytics. This will require a substantive understanding of the lifecycle of analytics across analysis, data science, and machine learning.  
  • Experience in telecommunications, media, and/or technology  
  • Previous proven experience leading a team of data engineers and data analysts, preferably as part of a successful transformation initiative. 
  • “Player-Coach” approach to coaching and developing a team—a leader who is not afraid to “get their hands dirty” 
  • Understanding of a cloud data environment with the ability to partner closely with an Enterprise IT organization 
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to summarize analytic findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to collaborate closely with executives all levels of an organization. 
  • Hands-on approach to learning the Altice USA business to quickly and thoughtfully augment the strategic value of a unified analytics function 
  • Growth mindset and mentally primed to take on challenges and adopt effective problem-solving strategies; encourages team to embrace growth mindsets

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $200,000.00 - $237,500.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
