Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Branded Retail to oversee the strategic direction and performance across our network of Branded Partners, National Retail channels, Indirect Dealers, and Authorized Dealers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel management, retail or distributor operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering outstanding customer experiences through our partner network. As the Director of Branded Retail, you will be responsible for managing a team of Regional Managers, developing and implementing channel strategies, and ensuring the overall success of our partner network.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth, increase market share, and enhance profitability across Branded Partner, National Retail, Indirect Dealer, and Authorized Dealer channels.
- Lead and manage a team of Regional Managers or channel leaders, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success and the success of their teams.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess partner performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional marketing, product management, and operations teams to develop and execute effective channel strategies and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across all branded partner channels. - Foster a positive and engaging environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and a customer-centric mindset among partners.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth within our partner network.
- Conduct regular partner visits or reviews to assess operations, provide feedback, and consistently adhere to brand standards and quality expectations.
Develop and manage channel budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control measures. - Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, Branded Partners, National Retailers, Indirect Dealers, Authorized Dealer channels, and other external stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms and maximize profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Channel Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in channel or retail management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple Branded Partner, National Retail, Indirect Dealer, and Authorized Dealer channels.
- Proven success in driving sales growth and achieving financial targets within a multi-channel or partner-based environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, focused on developing and empowering teams to achieve excellence.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, building relationships and collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Deep knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to channel and partner management.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans and make sound business decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
