Job Summary

The Manager, Sales Communications will lead sales communication strategies for the Business to Consumer sales team. As a valued member of the team, the manager will work with business channel owners to not only create partnerships but help contribute to the success of the channels. There will be the opportunity to make each interaction unique and memorable by guiding them through our offers and services.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales communication strategies to drive growth.  
  • Participates in communication planning and governance including prioritization, channel/ audience customization, and method alignment.  
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align communication efforts with sales objectives and campaigns for frontline sales.
  • Create and manage compelling sales content, including sales collateral, product messaging, and promotional materials for use across multiple channels.
  • Translate marketing briefs and technical information into agent- friendly and easily absorbable content, while also aligning with the organizations “brand voice” and communication standards.  
  • Oversee the creation & distribution of sales communications across methods including, but not limited to; email, articles, decks, job aids, news blasts and video. 
  • Analyze the performance of sales communications and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights and KPIs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors to support communication initiatives.
  • Provide insights and market intelligence on competitive landscape, trends, and practices.
  • Use data and analytics, as well as end user feedback, to measure the effectiveness of design and content initiatives to optimize future strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing or relevant field is required 
  • 5-7 years of professional in B2C sales, communications, or leadership role 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive informed decision making 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities 
  • Proficient computer and technical skills, that help support the best solutions 
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Video production and editing skills  
  • Graphic design or visual media experience 
  • Ability to drive process optimization 
  • Ability to think strategically 
  • Ability to build relationships and manage key and senior level stakeholders 
  • Excellent problem-solving, judgement, and decision-making skills in highly complex situations
