Job Summary

In this highly strategic position, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in leading clients through the development, execution and management of performance video campaigns. You’ll be able to bring your passion for media and performance advertising by leveraging and growing your subject matter expertise in linear, OTT, audio and programmatic channels in helping clients break new ground in growth for their business and brand through our innovative approach in performance media.

In short, this position will be expected to lead the day-to-day client strategy, client services and communication across linear and streaming accounts as well as lead a team of key collaborators as part of the execution of agency strategies and offerings to help scale client’s campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Leading, managing, optimizing and scaling ongoing performance strategies on several linear and digital streaming accounts in support of the client’s goals as well supporting the overall client services operation of the agency
  • You’ll be a key lead in analyzing video campaign performance data, communicating insights to clients, and making recommendations around how the campaign can be optimized and scaled
  • To the above, you’ll continually develop and grow your understanding of client goals, needs and opportunities with key client and internal agency stakeholders
  • Part of helping to lead the client's video campaign will also include providing best practices around creative managing media planning and execution, budget assessments, etc.
  • In addition to guiding the client through the day-to-day execution of their campaign, you’ll also drive and/or look for opportunities to provide additional “value added” services that could provide deeper insights and further scale their campaign.
  • Establishing strong client relationships: running client meetings and delivering presentations via phone, web, and in-person
  • Leading communication between management, internal media, business insights, data and product teams around onboarding and the ongoing servicing and analysis of client needs and goals.
  • A key role in identifying and supporting new business initiatives across the agency
  • Managing an Account Success team towards delivering on client and agency goals while also providing opportunities for team development and growth.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience of performance advertising and media planning in the video space. Audio is a plus.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the television performance marketplace. Experience with hybrid and/or brand campaigns is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a strong strategic thinker with ability to analyze data to help make recommendations both large and small
    • To the above, comfort with quantitative concepts; have an ability to understand data, and support the ability to communicate it to a client on how it aligns with the overall strategy; this is not a highly technical role, but numeracy and comfort with data is important
  • Be able to act as a trusted advisor to clients in helping them succeed in their performance television (streaming & linear) efforts
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to lead and/or support troubleshooting data related, strategy and client service issues
  • Comfortable in listening, communicating and being able to have “situational awareness” in being anticipatory for client needs and success. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; this is a client-facing role demanding clarity and succinctness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint a must.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail
  • Responsiveness & comfortable with managing and understanding when there is a need for “positive urgency” for both client and internal agency initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, lead and mentor team members. High premium on accountability and collaboration.
    • Ability to communicate and work productively with others in supporting clients, new business opportunities and overall agency success.
  • Demonstration of consistent curiosity, passion, operational nimbleness in a strong desire to grow as it relates to strategic thinking, execution, analytics, communication, new ways of viewing media, creative/messaging, audience targeting, and ultimately driving performance success of a client’s video campaign’s ability to enhance growth for their business and brand.
