Job Summary

The Business Integration Business Systems Analyst will work with cross-functional teams within the organization and is responsible for delivering functional business analysis, documenting functional requirements, End-to-End systems integration testing, defect management, and post deployment validations .  Typically, this role includes extensive testing and Support of call center technology systems.  This individual will facilitate collaborative sessions to review software defects, be an active participant in triaging any technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the requirements definition process to ensure the test strategy supports the requirements as defined
  • Create End to End/Beta Test Strategy and develop test plans in support of the approved test strategy
  • Responsible for leading End to End/Beta testing activities as well as pre-launch planning
  • Document and determine if issues identified in testing are defects or requirements gaps and follow up with appropriate action
  • Partner with IT developers by participating in daily defect review calls, test planning and strategy sessions
  • Participate in the defect management process and log gating statuses on defects
  • Responsible for developing and providing a daily test status summary
  • Develop and distribute Test Summary reports for at the conclusion of each test cycle
  • Participate in Go/No Go launch activities
  • Perform Ad Hoc testing
  • Serve as an influencer for peers, project managers and project teams for software/process improvement.  
  • Ensures smooth functioning of processes and procedures
  • Lead or participate on cross organizational working teams focused on new product launches, footprint wide initiatives, or process improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience in a closely related field such as a Business Analyst, Consultant, Project Manager, or related position performing functional business analysis and requirements gathering. Proven analytical ability related to analysis of functional business processes

Key Experiences

  • Experience in quality assurance testing 
  • Experience with specific call center technology systems such as IVR, ACD, Agent Desktop Tools, Call Recording applications, or prior experience in a call center environment is highly valuable
  • Experience with Microsoft products such as Outlook, Excel, Power Point, SQL
  • Experience with both custom development and packaged application deployment, including experience working within a formal development methodology
  • Experience with translating functional requirements into strong, well-written test cases
  • Ability to think critically and make data driven recommendations that impact the customer
  • Proficient in all facets of software testing, from the documentation of a Test Strategy to the creation and execution of test cases, and actively participate in root-cause analysis for any defects

Management Skills

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and collaborate across multiple business units; work well under pressure to meet deadlines and function with minimal supervision
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on workload or direction from management
  • Ability to establish and manage effective relationships at all levels
  • Knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle, specifically quality assurance testing, is desired 

Technical/Functional Competencies 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
