Job Summary

The MDU Sales Support Specialist will provide administrative support to the MDU Operations and Sales teams. The position will initially consist of creating a singular database of all MDU data and reports from various sources. There are an estimated over 2 million MDU Homes Passed in the Altice footprint.  The preferred method of tracking MDUs is using a complex ID in the billing system and in Sales Force.


  • The primary function of the role is to identify MDUs and create coding that is reportable. 
  • The position will be project oriented initially with a broader range of tasks being introduced as the MDU Data project nears completion.
  • The MDU specialist will liaise with various employees to collect, update and categorize relevant information in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify and correct errors and bring any anomalies to the attention of relevant parties when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and updated data in Sales Force portal and all reports  
  • Overall administrative support for Altice MDU team
  • Take active role in special projects
  • Liaison between the MDU Dept. and other departments in coordinating, obtaining and verifying information from various data sources
  • Active role in MDU Support for all other groups outside of the MDU Team. 


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn/navigate operational database systems (IDA billing & Sales Force)
  • Knowledge of Workfront and IDA a plus
  • Proficient PC skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to remain focused while performing repetitive tasks for long periods of time
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work effectively under pressure, and work independently
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
