Job Summary

 

Lightpath is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of telecommunications industry practices and procedures, along with the analytical skills to evaluate data, explore multiple solution paths, and assess their potential business impact.  This role requires the ability to perform a variety of responsibilities with minimal supervision, interpret and apply established processes and methodologies, and exercise sound judgment in dynamic environments. The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and delivering results through effective leadership and collaboration.

Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct data analysis to evaluate multiple solution options, presenting a balanced assessment of their respective business impacts.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in leading and delivering high-impact projects aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure project execution complies with the approved methodology.
  • Establish and lead cross-functional teams while fostering collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proactively manage and resolve conflicts related to resource allocation and shifting priorities.
  • Maintain full accountability for the scope, schedule, and successful delivery of assigned projects.
  • Oversee the simultaneous execution of multiple large-scale, complex initiatives.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement effective communication and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 4 years of related experience.
  • Experience with multiple technologies such as Fiber, Ethernet, Internet, and Transport/Wave.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Proven experience in project management and coordination across diverse initiatives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, with demonstrated expertise in data collection and analysis.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings to define objectives and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
  • Motivated self-starter with experience working in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring and guiding team members to achieve project goals.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. The pay range at the time of posting in the specified locations is $100,000- $125,000/year. Pay ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience.
