New York Interconnect (NYI) - Through a strategic partnership between Altice USA, Charter Communications and Comcast, the New York Interconnect is among the largest single market advertising platforms in the United States.  We provide advertisers with the ability to reach more than 6.2 million households in the New York DMA using a variety of advanced advertising products, including the ability to place ads on more than 85 cable networks as well as planning and campaign measurement.

Job Summary

The Research Analyst is responsible for providing overall research support to the Ad Sales and Marketing teams. The Analyst is responsible for accessing and analyzing data from multiple software applications to support TV, Digital, STB VOD, and OTT sales products. The data will be used to inform Sales and be used in sales collateral.

Responsibilities

  • Pull Overnight ratings for multiple cable networks and distribute on a daily basis
  • Derive positive points for one-sheets touting the success of cable TV programming, cable TV Networks, and the performance of News12.com to share with clients.
  • Develop positive stories for client pitch presentations used first and third party data sources
  • Produce Daily TV ratings highlights report for internal distribution
  • Create and maintain ratings performance tracks of high-profile TV programming
  • Execute weekly News12 and NY1 News TV performance report
  • Execute monthly News12.com performance report
  • Maintain TV programming calendar detailing premieres, finales, sports events, awards shows, etc.
  • Access set-top box data for use in supporting sales requests
  • Support Sales team of 28 in daily specific ad-hoc requests

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 years experience in TV research at a TV network/station, agency, or cable/satellite provider
  • Experience with Nielsen syndicated software systems including Arianna, NLTV, AdIntel, and Scarborough
  • Experience with Star Trak and Comscore software applications a plus
  • Ability to work independently and resolve problems
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong follow-through and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows Software and technology including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
